Presidential Action
On Memorial day we honor America
beloved daughters and sons who gave their last full measure of devotion to this
Nation. We can never fully repay the debt we owe these fallen heroes. But today ourselves to the work for which they
gave their lives, to supporting the
families, survivors they left behind.
For generations, these brave men who
date back to the founding of our country have answered the call of duty, ready
to die for what we all hold dear. They fought for our freedom.
They protect our freedom. They died
for our freedom. Today, while they rest in eternal peace, we still live in
Freedom that dares to spread its light throughout the world.

you and we mourn with you .
We know that the pain of their absence
can be overwhelming, especially today. But for many of you, this pain is about
knowing that your loved ones are a part of something bigger than us; they chose
a life full of work and purpose; Do whatever it takes to preserve and protect a
unique idea in history. humanity: United States.
These valiant soldiers are not only
the heart and soul of our country, but also its bones. Today - and every day -
we commemorate their service and ultimate sacrifice for our country. We keep
our sacred vows and patiently care for their families.

promise to protect their freedom and dignity. May Allah have mercy on our
martyrs and help our soldiers.
To honor and recognize all our fallen
soldiers, Congress was established on May 11, 1950 (36 U.S.C.
116) asked the President to issue a
message urging Americans to make each Memorial Day a day of prayer for eternal
peace and to choose a time today when Americans can unite in prayer and
meditation. Congress also chose 3:00 p.m. under Public Law 106-579. The local
time of day is the time for all Americans to mark the national time in their
own memory.
NOW, Therefore, I, JOSEPH R.
President of the United States Joe
Biden Jr. declared May 29, 2023, Memorial Day, a day of prayer for eternal
peace, and I choose the time of each starting point to be 11:00 a.m. that day.

press, radio, television and all media to cooperate in this commemoration.
I invite all Americans to celebrate
this national commemoration, which begins at 3 pm. Memorial Day local time.
I request the Presidents of the United
States and their States and Territories and relevant officials in all branches
of government to lower the flag at half-mast on Memorial Day in the United
Kingdom on all buildings, geography and navigation. States. and all areas under
its authority and management. I encourage family, friends and neighbors to
honor our martyrs through VLM's Veterans Legacy Memorial.
